dbRotas allows easy incorporation of LTFT also known as part time staff into a roster. Each clinicians LTFT percentage, normal working days and preferences are incorporated into their bespoke indiviudal roster.
99.9% of leave requests can normally be accommodated in a specific roster. Whilst we cannot guarnatee that every person gets 100% of their requests. Those that are unlucky for their first rota resultingly have a higher priority requests in future rotas. This creates fairness not over a single rota but over multiple rotas even if clinicians rotate around departments or trusts.
dbRotas allows the automated creation of bespoke rotas for clinicians around their work schedules, LTFT, job plans, preferences and leave requests. Each rota will be different but will be compliant to the preset standards and contractual rules. Many other rostering packages have just digitised the process of allocating rolling rotas to clinicians which is just digitising the problem without solving the issues. The bespoke rotas are created via an advanced algorithmic approach which will try thousands of combinations in an attempt to create an optimised version of your rota.
dbRotas does allow clinicians to self roster shifts however we advocate for it's use only in clinicans with extremely bespoke needs with very specific availability. Our research has shown that the vast majority of clinicians care most about getting their leave and planned time off and would rather not select every single shift that they work. Our approach allows clinicans to get their desired time off whilst creating a globally optimized rota for all.
For each specific rota each clinician can submit a life changing event which is automatically approved on submission before any other request is evaluated. 100% of life changing events are incorported. In the last year alone 80+ clinicians attend weddings which have been automatically approved reducing stress for clinicians and departments.
We can provide ESR integration however this needs to be requested directly by each individual trust to ESR. ESR integration is most beneficial if deploying dbRotas trust wide.
